NASCUS seeks a highly self-motivated individual to develop and implement an integrated marketing communications strategic plan for NASCUS including daily news, website administration, trade press relations, and social media. NASCUS is dedicated to the defense and advancement of the state credit union system including state-chartered credit unions and their state regulators.
The successful candidate shall have at least 5 years of experience as writer/editor or marketer for a trade association or news publication with proven strategic communications success in writing event/corporate promotion, website administration, and social media impact. Strong understanding of financial services policy issues as well as federal regulatory issues and congressional process helpful. Knowledge of the credit union system strongly preferred but not required. Member-based association experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications, or Marketing is required.
