American Banker’s Inaugural List of Most Powerful Women in Credit Unions

August 29, 2022American Banker’s Most Powerful Women in Credit Unions celebrates the senior executives guiding the future of the credit union industry, while also examining issues of mentorship and inclusion.

This award, debuting this year, is meant to recognize the achievements of these women and promote discussion of topics that are important to the advancement of the next generation of leaders.

Eligibility

Applicants must be employed by a credit union. Women primarily employed at any type of trade association, regulatory agency, or law, accounting, or other professional services firm are not eligible for this program. Eligibility is not restricted by geography.

Applications are read by a selection committee made up of American Banker staff members. Judges will consider qualities such as leadership, teamwork and personal initiative, demonstrated through action.

Deadline

Individual applications must be submitted by the deadline of Thursday, October 13, at 11:59 p.m. ET to be considered.
