NASCUS Webinar Series: Pig Butchering, Transnational Organized Crime, and Protecting Your People

June 23 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join us on June 23, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm EST

NASCUS is pleased to offer the next session in our complimentary member webinar series, featuring Erin West, Founder and President of Operation Shamrock.

Pig butchering scams have emerged as one of the most pervasive and financially damaging forms of fraud—driven by sophisticated transnational criminal networks operating at scale.

In this session, former prosecutor and anti-scam advocate Erin West draws on her frontline experience to examine how these schemes work, why they are so effective, and how funds are laundered through the global financial system. Participants will learn how these scams increasingly target professionals and employees, and what leaders can do to strengthen awareness, recognize early warning signs, and respond effectively when incidents occur.

Join us for a practical, real-world look at this growing threat—and what it takes to protect your organization and your people.

Attendance is free as a NASCUS member benefit.
Please fill out the form below to participate. A virtual meeting link will be sent out ahead of the webinar.

Guest Speaker

Erin West,
Founder and President, Operation Shamrock

Erin West is the founder of Operation Shamrock, a global nonprofit uniting law enforcement, industry, and everyday citizens to disrupt the worldʼs fastest-growing form of transnational organized crime: pig butchering scams. After 26 years as a prosecutor—including eight on the REACT High-Tech Task Force where she became known for her relentless pursuit of crypto criminals—Erin now leads a cross-border fight to expose the scam economy, mobilize action, and protect both victims and the trafficked workers forced to run these schemes.

She is also the host of Stolen, a podcast that brings listeners inside the darkest corners of the scamdemic, where love is weaponized, billions are laundered, and real people pay the price. A sought-after speaker and educator, Erin continues to equip and inspire audiences around the world to use their skills, platforms, and tools to fight back.
