Kentucky Directors’ College

December 13

Join Us On December 13, 2022

Board governance has never been more important as state and federal examiners continue to scrutinize the management and governance of credit unions to ensure a culture of compliance and competence emanates from the top down.

Senior staff and directors will join NASCUS and a panel of specialists exploring critical topics for every credit union’s leadership team.

  • Survey the legion of board policies required for federally insured credit unions and understand how and why they fit into the regulatory framework for your credit union
  • Understand the structure and role of a properly functioning supervisory committee

With cybersecurity top of mind for regulators, policymakers and credit union members, understand the top weaknesses in credit unions often exploited by hackers. And finally, enhance your board’s reading of the credit union’s annual audit report with a session focused on breaking down reports and identifying the key takeaways.

NASCUS Director Colleges, held around the country, are perfectly calibrated to combine important but digestible information for directors in a relaxed setting. Attendees will network over coffee before starting the morning session, breaking for lunch (provided) and the finishing up by 3pm.

This hybrid event allows learning opportunities in-person or virtually from your desk.
