Chief Financial Officer
Bio: Doug McGuckin joined NASCUS in December 2013 and currently serves as chief financial officer. Mr. McGuckin manages NASCUS’ financial operations, ensuring business continuity across organizational functions, and making sure policies and procedures align with NASCUS’s values, mission, and strategic plan. He also serves as staff liaison to NASCUS’ educational foundation, the National Institute for State Credit Union Examination (NISCUE).
Prior to joining NASCUS, he spent more than a decade at the Federal Trade Commission, where he served as a management and program analyst overseeing the agency’s continuity of operations and OSHA programs, in addition to special projects for the Office of the Executive Director. Doug was a recipient of the FTC’s Richard C. Foster award in 2003.
Mr. McGuckin earned his B.S. in business administration magna cum laude from La Salle University and holds an M.B.A. from the American University.
