Mountain America Credit Union Merges with Les Bois Credit Union
December 1, 2014 – West Jordan, Utah – Moutain America Credit Union and Les Boise Credit Union announced today that the two financial institutions will merge on January 1, 2015. The merger will extend Mountain America’s reach in the Boise, Idaho, area and bring its total branch network to 82 — the fifth largest amongst all credit unions in the nation.

NASCUS Welcomes Rose Conner to NASCUS Board; Says Goodbye to Utah Regulator Orla Beth Peck
August 6, 2014 – Rose Conner, administrator of the North Carolina Credit Union Division, has been appointed to the NASCUS Board. Conner replaces Utah regulator Orla Beth Peck, who recently retired from her position as supervisor of credit unions with the Utah Department of Financial Institutions (DFI).

Utah State Track & Field’s Nic Bowens Named America First Credit Union USU Student-Athlete of the Week
May 5, 2014 – Logan, Utah – Utah State junior track & field athlete Nic Bowens has been named the America First Credit Union USU Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending on Sunday, May 4, it was announced Monday, in an award that is voted on by a state-wide media panel.

Utah Jazz and Mountain America Credit Union ‘Pass it Along’ to Huntsman Cancer Foundation
April 7, 2014 – Salt Lake City, Utah – The Utah Jazz and Mountain America Credit Union today announced Huntsman Cancer Foundation as an additional recipient of ‘Pass It Along,’ a new program featuring fan nomination opportunities that has now awarded $30,000 to six local charitable organizations. The program is part of Mountain America and the Utah Jazz’s shared commitment to community outreach.
