Kansas Department of Credit Unions, Financial Examiner
The examiner will assist in examinations of state charter credit unions. As a member of the examination team, the examiner is assigned one or more areas of specific examination responsibility. After initial training has been completed, the examiner will be expected to act as Examiner in Charge for smaller, less complex credit unions. The role of Financial Examiner includes travel throughout the state of Kansas to credit unions for the purpose of performing examinations. The persons filling these positions can be located in any area of the state.
Director, Research & Analytics
NASCUS seeks a highly self-motivated individual to be responsible for utilizing various data sources and developing survey tools to collect and analyze data for the credit union industry and its regulatory agencies; with the ability to produce easy to understand reports, charts, and graphics to convey findings. The successful candidate will have proven experience with various survey tools, the ability to manipulate large, complex data sets using a variety of software applications (SPSS, SAS, and Microsoft Suite) and the ability to perform statistical analysis.
Skilled knowledge in generating process documentation, strong written and verbal communication and technical writing skills are required.
A Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, IT, or business administration or equivalent experience is required as well as a minimum of two years’ experience in an applied research or data management environment.
