Vice President, Communications
Shelton Roulhac serves as Vice President of Communications. In this role, he is tasked with increasing and enhancing the visibility of NASCUS and the state credit union system throughout the industry and regulatory community through coverage of NASCUS events, state system regulatory and legislative perspectives, and developments in the state credit union system. He further manages NASCUS’ overall communications program across various media, formats, and delivery channels.
Prior to joining NASCUS, he was the Senior Director of Advocacy at CUNA, responsible for researching and reviewing state legislation, laws, and regulations to determine their impact on the nation’s credit unions. He also served as the Senior Policy Analyst at the Council on Foundations and Public Policy Specialist at the Mortgage Bankers Association. He also served as a Congressional aide for Representative Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX).
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
