Liz Evans, Vice President of State Programs & Supervisory Policy

Liz Evans is the Vice President of State Programs and Supervisory Policy for NASCUS. She is responsible for managing the NASCUS Accreditation Program; managing NASCUS task forces, working groups, and NCUA standing committees; engaging with NASCUS’ state regulatory agencies to support state initiatives to enhance supervisory programs; performing analysis and advocacy of regulatory and statutory policy; and facilitating training of state examiners.

Prior to joining NASCUS, Liz worked for three years as Financial Examiner Administrator for the Kansas Department of Credit Unions (KDCU), responsible for the management of the entirety of the examination program with duties that ranged from scheduling examinations for 60 state-chartered credit unions to supervising exam staff, performing on-site reviews, developing and implementing the agency’s strategic plan, executing policy revision, development, and implementation; and maintaining the Department’s accreditation status.

Liz earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership, both from Friends University.
