NASCUS to Hold Second Loan Modification Forum in October

June 25, 2010 — By popular demand, NASCUS has announced a second Loan Modification Forum to be held in Columbus, Ohio, October 19-21, 2010.

NASCUS held this timely and popular event in California in January of this year, and NASCUS members have requested the event be held again this year to offer an additional opportunity for members to attend.

This two-and-half-day forum will provide attendees with an in-depth look at the credit risk issues inherent in the mortgage loan collection process. In addition to emerging issues and best practices in loan modifications, we will cover the following issues:

Collection practices
Repossession policies
Foreclosure policy and practices
Troubled debt restructuring
Allowance for loan loss implications
Related bankruptcy issues
