NASCUS Leadership Gathering in Seattle, May 8-9

NASCUS will hold its Thirdly Business Meetings of its leadership, May 8-9, 2008 in Seattle, Washington. The NASCUS Board of Directors and Credit Union Executive Council will meet to continue discussion on current and emerging issues and NASCUS strategic priorities and projects.

NASCUS leadership meets in-person three times a year, usually in February, May and prior to the NASCUS State System Summit in August. The group plans to discuss the U.S. Treasury’s Blueprint for Regulatory Modernization, developments with unrelated business income tax (UBIT), proposed rules and NASCUS governance issues including approval of the organization’s the budget for the upcoming year.

The NASCUS Board of Directors is comprised of nine state regulators elected by NASCUS member state regulatory agencies and their personnel. The Credit Union Executive Council includes 12 district directors who are executives of state-chartered credit unions belonging to the NASCUS Credit Union Advisory Council. click here.
