Discount Extended for NASCUS ANNUAL SCHOOL for State Credit Union Examiners

May 30, 2008 - NASCUS Annual School attendees now have until June 6 to save $100 on registration. Tuition includes instruction, four nights of lodging and most meals.

The Annual School gives attendees the unique opportunity to network with their peers from across the country while exchanging examination best practices. It is also the only NASCUS school exclusively for state examiners. Each state is encouraged to send at least one examiner to this valuable school. The event will take place July 8-11, 2008 in Arlington, Virginia at the FDIC Seidman Center.

o Michael Benardo, chief of cyber fraud and the financial crimes section, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC)
o Sally Myers, CEO of c. myers, an ALM education company for credit unions
o Lauren Cnare, a NASCUS Communications Consultant

The agenda for the Annual School includes:

Also included in the agenda is an Examiner's Communications Workshop designed to enhance attendees writing and presentation skills. All sessions will focus on the critical credit union operational and examination issues of 2008.
