NASCUS Leadership Gathering in Washington, D.C. for Business and Industry Meetings

ARLINGTON, Va. —NASCUS leadership will travel to Washington, D.C. next week for a full schedule of business and credit union system group meetings during the Credit Union National Association’s (CUNA) Government Affairs Conference (GAC).

The NASCUS Board and Credit Union Executive Council will hold business meetings Feb. 23-24 and the NASCUS Committees will meet Feb. 24. Further, NASCUS leadership is scheduled to meet with Congressional leaders and credit union system groups including CUNA, CUNA Mutual Group, the National Association of Federal Credit Unions, the American Association of Credit Union Leagues, the Association of Corporate Credit Unions and others during the GAC. Meetings are also planned for the NASCUS regulator leadership and the National Credit Union Administration.

“During these extraordinary economic times in the financial services system, it’s important that we collaborate and discuss the impact of this economic environment on credit unions,” said Mary Martha Fortney, NASCUS President and CEO. “There is no better time for the NASCUS leadership to convene and to take advantage of opportunities to dialogue with other regulators and credit union system groups.”
