In order to foster greater communication with regulated entities, NASCUS and the Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation (OFIR) will hold a one-day conference at the Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel on October 22, 2012.

The session will take place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is open to Michigan directors and executive management. The event will provide an opportunity for the industry and examiners to jointly discuss the current Michigan financial environment, changes in credit union regulations as well as industry and examination related issues.

The session will include a luncheon opportunity for networking between the regulator and regulated. The fee for this one day event is $149 for NASCUS Credit Union Advisory Council members and $199 for non members.
