2008 State System Summit Logistics

Lodging: The Westin Seattle is located in downtown Seattle – just steps away from the Pike Place Market and the Space Needle.

For reservations by phone, dial 1-888-627-8513 and ask for the NASCUS room block at the Westin Seattle. The NASCUS rate is $199. NASCUS regulator members qualify for a reduced rate based on the government per diem – currently $170.

Transportation: The Westin Seattle is located about 13 miles from the Seattle-Tacoma International airport. Available ground transportation includes taxi or shuttle bus service. The fare for a one-way taxi ride is approximately $35.

The Downtown Airporter shuttle bus by Gray Line provides affordable transportation to and from the airport. You can find Grayline’s information desk at the baggage claim area of the airport. The prices are approximately $11 one way and $17 roundtrip. For additional shuttle information and reservations, call Gray Line at 800-426-7532 or visit the website at www.graylineseattle.com.

Silent Auction:NASCUS is planning its third annual silent auction to benefit the Children's Miracle Network on August 21. This year, NASCUS is holding a Silent Art Auction.

To donate, please send artwork to NASCUS, CMN Silent Auction, 1655 North Fort Myer Drive, Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22209. Children's Miracle Network is an international non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for and awareness of children's hospitals.

Registration Fees: NASCUS members: $845; non-members: $1,045; small credit unions (under $10 million in assets: $595; and spouses/guests: $300.

All refunds/cancellations must be made in writing by August 1, 2008 and are subject to a $75 administrative fee. No refunds will be expected after this date. Substitutions are permitted at any time.
